All individuals who hold an AusTkd Kyorugi referee accreditation are required to meet the following requirements, regardless of the level of their
accreditation.
● Be a minimum of 16 years of age, or 12 years for Cadet Certification
● Registered and financially sound member with AusTkd
● Obtain a Working with Children Check within their State of residence (minimum age requirement for State permitting)
● Adhere to AusTkd’s policies and the referee code of conduct
● Complete Sports Integrity Australia requirements as defined by AusTkd, including but not limited to:
○ Competition Manipulation & Sports Gambling
○ Safeguarding Children and Young People Inductions
● Not be subject to any sanctions by a State Association, AusTkd or World Taekwondo
AusTkd will use online applications to track the National events attended by referees and ensure practical learning and event requirements are
being met before being recommended for advancement.
